In her role, Petra Skroblies will support Dr Chima Abuba, who has previously led GHD as sole CEO and was responsible for the realignment of GHD — namely the focus on its DNA, the homecare core business. The role of Matthias Born, who had served as CFO and Managing Director since October 2021, was taken over by Jakob Witt. Born will devote himself to new professional challenges, GHD announces.
Petra Skroblies will in future lead the business jointly with Dr Chima Abuba. She has been with the company since August 2023 and has led the homecare area since then. Previously she held leadership positions at Coloplast GmbH as well as at Hollister Incorporate & Dansac.
Jakob Witt has been with the company since March 2023 and most recently held the position of Head of Finance. In this function he was responsible for accounting, controlling, treasury and tax. Before his time at GHD, Witt held various leadership positions in finance, including at the Bauer Media Group, Tchibo and Telefónica Germany.
Matthias Born, who co-led the realignment of GHD, will remain with the company until 30 June 2026. Together with Jakob Witt he is to ensure a structured handover and guarantee a smooth transition in the finance department.
